I had a period where I read all these weird punk mangas that were really popular in the 80s/90s in Japan. And this one was for sure one of the better ones.
Though I don't really think this is an anime announcement (maybe that's obvious), it does not have enough appeal for that kind of stuff today, rather it might be a live-action mini series or something. Would work better with the content. |

I'm pretty sure it's a TV drama. It's a pity, especially considering how utterly unfaithful drama adaptations can be to the source material, but I don't think this is the sort of manga that would ever get an anime. |

@SHD: Depending on the series, an anime can get quite faithful to the LN/manga if the source material ends. However, the problem is adapting too soon where you skip out on a lot of stuff or wait too long when the popularity has somewhat dimmed.
