I hope someone subs this for English speakers. I really want to watch even if it's only the first 13 minutes.

I can see why this movie got a lot of praise from Jojo fans. They don't dumb you down with the background info. They just go straight in, knowing that you already have the lore down in your head.

I also love that the "JO" on Kujo's hat swaps.

Maybe from Western fans because reading the Japanese comments and seeing how much dislikes it has, I can see why they hate it.

That's not a good thing for casual audiences. It's a similar problem the "Harry Potter" movies had, where certain plot points were omitted and they expected the people watching the movie to have read the books. The difference was that with HP, they were small scenes, where as with this, they skipped three stories worth of continuity.

I wondered what all the hate was about until The World was activated and saw how janky the FX were. Good god. They're cringy. Ii'd still watch it, though. I hope it does get licensed in the States.

Kind of weird to see a bunch of Japanese extras walking around Sitges, Spain. I wonder how much it cost to ship a bunch of extras over there to make it look like Japan.

I found it very annoying. What an overindulgent, pointless expense. S City, M Prefecture is supposed to be Sendai, Miyagi. Film it there. Who cares if it doesn't look 100% the same as it did in the '90s.
