This is the first time this gets a Japanese live action treatment? Shocked
I guess the script will need to update the details then.

Come to think of it, 20 years back, the premise might have been a bit too controversial for TV.

I'd be quite surprised if this manga's target demographic still consumes marmalade in this day and age. Pleasant though it may be, it is a rather outmoded preserve.
