Masashi Kishimoto to Draw 'Boruto' 1-Shot Manga in Spring 2016

Naruto original manga creator Masashi Kishimoto announced at a stage program at the Jump Festa event in Tokyo on Saturday that he will draw a 'Boruto' one-shot spinoff manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in spring 2016.
The same stage event had also revealed that Naruto assistant artist Mikio Ikemoto will draw a serialized Boruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump starting next spring. Kishimoto will supervise the new manga, and Ukyō Kodachi (Naruto: Gaara Hiden - Sajingensō novel, Boruto -Naruto the Movie- screenplay cooperation) will write the manga's script. Weekly Shonen Jump will publish new chapters of the manga once a month.
