Free! Take Your Marks Film Ends With 'See You Next Stage' Message

The Free! -Take Your Marks- anime film premiered at the "3rd KyoAni & Do Thanks Event" on October 21 and ended with the message "See You Next Stage." When asked about the note during the stage greeting, character designer Futoshi Nishiya only repeated the line in English.
The film will open in Japan on Saturday. It is a sequel to the Free! -Timeless Medley- compilation films and it depicts four stories set in early spring.
The original 2013 Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club anime ended with a similar message, "see you next summer." The second season Free! Eternal Summer was announced in 2014.
