Full Metal Panic's Tessa Speaks to Quake Victims

posted on by Egan Loo
Voice actress Yukana, author Shoji Gatoh, artist Shikidouji contribute to message

The voice actress Yukana posted the above message from Teletha "Tessa" Testarossa, the character she voiced in the Full Metal Panic! anime, to the people in the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster area on Sunday. Shoji Gatoh, the author of the original Full Metal Panic! light novels, wrote the text of the message, and the light novels' illustrator Shikidouji drew the accompanying art.

The effort came about when Yukana was looking for something else she can do in addition to giving donations and conserving electricity. She then heard that Shikidouji had drawn Tessa as a part of a series of illustrations to encourage the disaster victims. She contacted Shikidouji about working together, and finally they reached Gatoh to write the message.
