Mawaru Penguindrum's Penguin Slippers Offered in Japan

The anime good publisher MOVIC is listing Mawaru Penguindrum penguin slippers for sale on December 15. The fabric slippers are about 28 centimeters long and 15 centimeters wide, and MOVIC is selling them for 2,100 yen (about US$27). The company is also offering a variety of Mawaru Penguindrum merchandise including keychains, t-shirts, boxed curry, and iPhone covers, some of which are available for purchase now.
Directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara, the Mawaru Penguindrum television anime began airing in Japan in July. The story revolves around the Takakura twins as they search for the Penguindrum in order to repay a spirit for saving their sister's life.
