K-ON's Mio's Birthday Celebrated with 1,150 Cards

Fans also celebrate bassist's birthday with cakes and figures
The online shop of the Japanese broadcaster TBS is celebrating the birthday of K-ON! manga/anime bassist character Mio Akiyama on Sunday with exclusive birthday cards (just like on the birthdays for her band mates). In honor of Mio's January 15 birthday, the store will offer 1,150 cards while supplies last.
On Sunday, the first 650 people who spend at least 5,000 yen (about US$65) at the "ishop" will receive the exclusive birthday cards. Another random 500 online shoppers will be selected to receive the remaining cards.
Fans have already started to celebrate her birthday at home with cakes and figures:
