My Ordinary Life Cast Teaches Physics in New Study Guide

Nichijou dialogue illustrates difficult concepts at high school freshman level

Chukei, a Kadokawa Group Publishing company, will release a book that teaches basic physics with the help of the My Ordinary Life anime cast on June 15. With designs from this anime based on Keiichi Arawi's manga, Nichijou to Manabu Butsuri Kiso ga Omoshiroi Hodo Wakaru Hon (Fun Guide to Learning Basic Physics With My Ordinary Life) helps students learn physics concepts at the high school freshman level. Actual dialogue from the manga and character commentaries help illustrate difficult-to-grasp topics.

The book includes an exclusive poster, and the anime's own Shinonome Lab supervised the illustrations. The Comic Natalie website posted sample pages online.

Chukei released a similar book last April that teaches English with Nagaru Tanigawa's Haruhi Suzumiya science-fiction comedy light novel series, and another book that teaches chemistry with Lucky Star characters in 2010. Chukei also published a book for Japanese history with K-ON!! voice actress Aki Toyosaki and Di Gi Charat illustrator Koge Donbo last year, followed by a world history one with Puella Magi Madoka Magica's lead voice actress Aoi Yūki.
