D3Publisher Opens Website to Tease Orc Dating Sim Game

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Game developer D3Publisher is no stranger to odd countdown websites. In 2016, a week-long reveal was cut short when fans found "edf5" in the source code of one of the countdown sites, all but confirming that the big reveal was for Earth Defense Force 5. The company sped up its reveal to a single day as a result. The company also had its Omega Labyrinth countdown site in 2015, which sped up if visitors rapidly clicked breasts on the page. The game was quickly announced to be an "oppai" roguelike dungeon game. They followed it up with an inverse countdown, also featuring breasts, where the announcement time increased if fans clicked on them. Jokesters got the announcement technically delayed for two years, but it was revealed on time anyway in Famitsu magazine as Omega Labyrinth Z.

This time D3Publisher opened a teaser site for Tokimeki Mecha Orc, an orc dating simulation starring identical green love interests with traditional female name signifiers. Players will be able to woo "Okuko," "Okumi," "Okuka," and "Orkuri Hepburn." Each character's story will be revealed each day from September 1-4.

Okuko's story is currently on the website and visitors can select three different choices to interact with her. Her "Bad End" leads Okuko to strangle the player to death with her strong arms.

The site is probably a ruse and the real PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita game will be announced at the end of the countdown, but until then visitors can have some fun simulating a monster romance.
