Sanrio Collaboration, Art Exhibit Mark Rozen Maiden Manga's 15th Anniversary

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Peach-Pit's Rozen Maiden manga is collaborating with some of Sanrio's most popular characters to celebrate the series' 15th anniversary. Kuromi, Pompompurin, Little Twin Stars, Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll will appear as Rozen Maiden-style dolls on a clear file that will bundle with the October issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine on September 19.

The Rozen Maiden 0 manga will also feature on the front cover of the magazine's upcoming issue. Additionally, the series' second compiled book volume will ship on September 19.

The "Tanjō 15 Shūnen Rozen Maiden 0-ten" (Creation 15th Anniversary Rozen Maiden 0 Exhibit) exhibit will be held at the Parabolica-bis art museum in Tokyo from September 15 to October 31. The exhibit will feature reproduced color illustrations, "Nikoichi Maiden" illustrations, Taishō Roman Tribute Dolls, a Rose Tea Party, a talk show, and other events. Admission to the exhibition will cost 500 yen (about US$4.50).

Peach-Pit launched their ongoing Rozen Maiden 0 manga series in Ultra Jump magazine in February 2015. The manga went on hiatus in May and returned in the magazine's September issue on August 19. The original Rozen Maiden manga series ran from 2002 to 2007 in Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine and continued in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2008 to 2014. Tokyopop once published the manga in North America.
