Detective Conan Ranks First at BO

Beats Crayon Shin-chan and ROTK in first week out.
The new Detective Conan movie has closed out its first weekend in Japanese theatres on top of the box office. Conan beat out the new Crayon Shin-chan movie, which also debuted this weekend and Return of the King, which had fallen below the #2 position for the first time since its Japanese release 9 weeks ago.
Return of the King has previously only been removed from the #1 spot once since its premiere, two weeks ago by Doraemon 2004, which premiered 6 weeks ago.
Also Debuting this week was Appleseed, which managed to premiere in 7th spot.
