Hoshin Artist to Adapt Shiki by Twelve Kingdoms Author

posted on by Egan Loo
The Japanese website for Shueisha's upcoming Jump Square manga magazine has announced that artist Ryū Fujisaki (Hoshin Engi, Soul Hunter) will adapt the Shiki horror fantasy novels by Fuyumi Ono (The Twelve Kingdoms, Ghost Hunt) for a serialized manga that starts in the magazine's January 2008 issue (on sale December 4). That issue will be the second issue of the new magazine. Shiki revolves around an isolated mountain village, steeped in ancient traditions, whose population of 1,300 starts dying in droves due to mysterious causes. Source: Ultimatum
