Media Blasters Indicates License of Night Head Genesis

John Sirabella, CEO of the North American anime distributor Media Blasters, has indicated in an AnimeOnDVD.com forum post that his company has licensed the Night Head Genesis anime series. This 2006 anime series adapted the Night Head live-action television drama hit that aired from 1992 to 1993. It centered around two psychic brothers who escape from a laboratory that imprisoned them for 15 years. What awaits them outside is a foreign world whose fate lies in a "Revolution" involving the brothers.
The 24-episode anime series featured the direction of Yoshi Takeuchi (Cat's Eye, Harlock Saga) and the character designs of You Higuri (Gakuen Heaven, Gorgeous Carat). George Iida (the creator of the original Night Head drama and the director of the Dragon Head movie and the live-action adaptation of Clamp's Tokyo Babylon 1999) returned to help draft the overall story.
