Director Yutaka Yamamoto Talks About Lucky Star Firing

The Canned Dogs blog notes that director Yutaka Yamamoto briefly discussed his experience on the Lucky Star anime on Kannagi Radio, the program that covers the Kannagi manga and its anime adaptation. Yamamoto unexpectedly left the Lucky Star anime project shortly after the fourth episode aired in April of 2007. On Kannagi Radio, Yamamoto did not explain the reason he got fired from Lucky Star, but he confirmed that he was fired and unsuccessfully tried to win back his job.
