Sequel to Nodame Cantabile: Paris Green-Lit for Fall 2009 (Update 2)

The January issue (on sale on December 10) of Tokuma Shoten's Animage magazine will announce that a sequel to the ongoing Nodame Cantabile: Paris anime series has been green-lit for fall 2009. Nodame Cantabile: Paris itself is the continuation of a 2007 anime adaptation of Tomoko Ninomiya's original Nodame Cantabile manga. The manga, the anime, and a live-action drama adaptation all center around two music students who drive themselves and each other to greater artistic heights in Japan and later Europe. The new Nodame Cantabile: Paris sequel will air in the same late-night Noitamina timeslot on Fuji TV as its two predecessors have.
