Kurokami The Animation Promotional Video Streamed

posted on by Egan Loo
Anime of Dall-Young Lim, Sung-woo Park's Black God manga to debut in January

The official website for the Kurokami The Animation version of Dall-Young Lim and Sung-woo Park's Kurokami (Black God) manga has begun streaming a promotional video in 1M or 500K bandwidth on Thursday. (The video requires recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.) The promotional video uses previously unreleased footage from the first two episodes of the anime and a "hard" music piece from the soundtrack by Tomohisa Ishikawa (Appleseed: Ex Machina, Innocent Venus, Kite Liberator).

The story revolves around an ordinary game programmer named Keita who gets caught in a battle being fought by Kuro — a Mototsumitama or a guardian of the coexistence equilibrium. Kuro saves Keita's life and regenerates an arm that Keita loses when they first meet. Sunrise and director Tsuneo Kobayashi (Emma: A Victorian Romance, Glass no Kamen, The Twelve Kingdoms) will premiere the anime in Japan on January 8. Yen Press published the fourth volume of the manga in North America in October.
