Rumiko Takahashi to Launch Latest Work This Spring

posted on by Egan Loo
New work to be in Shonen Sunday, home of her recently ended Inuyasha

The Web Sunday site of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday manga magazine has announced on Wednesday that Rumiko Takahashi will launch her newest work this spring. Future issues of Shonen Sunday will announce more details about the project.

Takahashi ended her last work, Inuyasha, in the same magazine last June. The final compiled volume of Inuyasha, volume 56, will ship on February 18. Inuyasha: Inuyasha to Kagome, a special one-volume selection of stories from the manga with the theme of romance, will also ship on that day. Takahashi's earlier works include Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, One-Pound Gospel, and Rumic Theater.

Viz Media has been releasing most of Takahashi's manga in North America, and it has also released many of their anime adaptations.
