Lucky Star's Yoshimizu to Restart Miyakawa-ke no Kūfuku

posted on by Egan Loo
4-panel manga's run in Comp Ace magazine to begin on April 25

Kagami Yoshimizu, the creator of the Lucky Star slice-of-life comedy manga and anime, will relaunch his Miyakawa-ke no Kūfuku manga in the June issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Comp Ace magazine on April 25. The four-panel manga will center on Hinata and Hikage Miyakawa, the two sister characters who appeared in the Lucky Star Moe Drill game series. The manga originally ran in Kadokawa's Comp H's magazine, but that magazine ended publication last year.

The original Lucky Star manga also runs in Comp Ace magazine, as well as in Comptiq and other publications. Bandai Entertainment announced at Comic-Con International last July that it will release the original Lucky Star manga in North America, just as it had released Kyoto Animation's anime adaptation.
