The August issue of Shogakukan's Ciao shōjo magazine has announced on Friday that Kirarin Revolution creator An Nakahara will launch her new Kururun– Rieru Change! manga in the next issue on August 3. The story centers on Rieru, a girl who has a one-sided crush on a boy. She wants to go to the same school with the boy no matter what — and she is somehow granted her wish.

Nakahara ended her Kirarin Revolution manga in the same magazine this past May, and the 13th volume of the manga shipped last November. Kirarin Revolution inspired a 2006-2008 anime of the same name which ended in March. Viz Media has been pitching the anime (under the names Kirari and Kilari) to potential overseas distributors at trade conventions.

In the same September issue, Meme Iwaoka will launch the Maid Janai Mon! Sweet Kiss manga series. The story follows Momoe, a maid who suddenly becomes very rich and ends up living under the same roof with a boy named Akira. Keiko Notoyama, the manga artist of the Waiwai— Hey! Say! JUMP manga about the Hey! Say! JUMP J-pop boy band, will draw a one-shot manga called Ningyō Ōji (Merman Prince). The story is about a fated first love in the South Pacific.
