Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, November 23-29

Bakemonogatari sells 41,000; Macross F concert, K-ON, FMA in top 5

According to the Oricon survery firm, The third volume of the Bakemonogatari anime sold 18,607 DVDs and about 41,000 Blu-ray Discs. That makes it only the second Blu-ray Disc release so far to sell over 40,000 copies in Japan in its first week. (The first was the Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone film with about 49,000 copies.) The first Bakemonogatari volume sold about 29,000 copies in its first week, while the second volume sold about 39,000 copies.

The Macross Frontier Galaxy Tour Final in Budōkan concert disc debuted at #3.
