The website for the live-action film adaptation of Shinichi Ishizuka's Gaku - Minna no Yama manga is streaming the full trailer. In the story, Sanpo (Shun Oguri) is an experienced mountain climber and rescue team volunteer. Sanpo helps rookie mountain rescue teammate Kumi (Masami Nagasawa) in gaining rescue experience. However a blizzard causes multiple accidents to occur at the same time, forcing Kumi to put her training to the test. The film will open in Japan on May 7.

On Tuesday, America's Cartoon Network posted a 45-second preview at the English dub for the upcoming North American premiere of Pokemon: Black and White!. (The preview is preceded by an ad.) The clip is taken from the first episode of the season where the main character Ash meets his newest rival, Trip (Shooti in Japanese), and begins his adventure by choosing a starting Pokémon.

The anime, known as Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes! in Japan, also introduces the franchise's fifth generation of Pokémon from the upcoming Pokemon: Black and White! DS games. The clip includes starters Tepig, a fire-based pig; Oshawott, a water-based otter; and Snivy, a grass-based lizard. The series is set to debut on Cartoon Network on Saturday, February 12.

Bandai Entertainment began streaming the official English trailer for The Girl Who Leapt Through Space anime this week. The 26-episode series is set in the year 311 of the Orbital Era, when humanity has migrated to countless colony clusters in space. Akiha must battle a malevolent artificial intelligence named Leopard that has been installed on a colony. Akiha is joined by an Inter-Colony Police officer named Itsuki Kannagi, a taciturn young girl named Honoka Kawai, and a robot named Imoko "Imo-chan" Shishidō. Bandai Entertainment will release the first DVD volume on April 26.
