Sore ga Bokura no Nichijō. comedy manga about academy life to inspire BD/DVD extras

The official blog of the editors at Enterbrain's web manga site Famitsu Comic Clear confirmed on Wednesday that an anime adaptation of Sore ga Bokura no Nichijō. (This Is Our Daily Life) manga has been green-lit. The manga creator namo has been serializing Sore ga Bokura no Nichijō. as a "spinout" series based on Kenji Inoue's Baka to Test to Shōkanjū (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts) light novel series in Famitsu Comic Clear.

The light novels center around Akihisa Yoshii (pictured below) and his magical academy's lowly-ranked Class F as they battle the higher-tiered classes to seize their perks. The Sore ga Bokura no Nichijō. manga follows the comical daily life of the students at Fumizuki Academy.

The light novels already inspired two television seasons and a video anime project. Baka to Test to Shōkanjū Ni!, the second television season, will premiere in Japan on July 7. The new season's six Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes will launch in September, and each volume will include a different, standalone Sore ga Bokura no Nichijō. story as a bonus extra. More details will be announced at the official Japanese Baka to Test website.

Funimation streamed the first anime season as it aired in Japan, and it plans to release the complete season on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, after two delays, in August.

The Famitsu Comic Clear editors' blog had hinted last week that there will be an Sore ga Bokura no Nichijō. anime adaptation, but it emphasized this week that the news is unequivocally true.
