Japan's Animation DVD Ranking, July 25-31

AKB48's AKB ga Ippai ~The Best Music Video~ collection dropped from #3 to #14 in its sixth week. It sold 7,501 more copies for a total of 331,399. The AKB48 Nemōsu TV Season 5 release sold 4,827 copies to debut at #21. Morning Musume's Concert Tour 2011 Spring DVD debuted at #19 by selling 5,490 copies.
Takashi Yamazaki's live-action film adaptation of the Space Battleship Yamato anime (pictured right) dropped from #16 to #34 in its sixth week. It sold 3,660 copies for a new total of 105,651.
The first film in Shinsuke Satō's live-action adaptation of Hiroya Oku's Gantz action manga fell from #11 to #38 in its second week. It sold 3,148 more copies for a new total of 45,348.
The Hatsune Miku Vision music DVD from various artists also fell from #17 to #56. It moved 1,886 copies for a total-to-date of 6,601.
The live-action special-effects work Kamen Rider W Returns Kamen Rider Eternal dropped from #5 to 60. It added 1,658 to its total of 10,477.
The Single V "Natsu Dakara!" DVD by Buono! sold 1,336 copies to land at #69.
