Crunchyroll to Stream Un-Go TV Anime from Bones

posted on by Egan Loo
Newest anime from FMA/Gundam 00 director Seiji Mizushima to start on Thursday

The media site Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will stream the television anime series UN-GO as it airs in Japan, starting at 12:30 p.m. EDT. UN-GO will be available with English subtitles in the United States, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Netherlands. It will be also available with Portuguese subtitles in Brazil and Portugal.

In the story of Un-Go, Shinjūrō Yūki and Inga work together to solve mysteries in a near future timeline. The story is based on the works of Ango Sakaguchi (Aoi Bungaku Series' "In the Forest, Under Cherries in Full Bloom"), a post-World War II Japanese novel and essayist.

The anime is the newest collaboration of director Seiji Mizushima (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) and the anime studio Bones. Mizushima and Bones previously worked together on the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime series. Shō Aikawa (Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost Slayers Ayashi, Martian Successor Nadesico) is writing the scripts, and pako (Scar-red Rider XechS) and Yun Kouga (Gundam 00, Loveless, Earthian) are handling the character designs.
