Tamayura TV's Last BD/DVD to Add Unaired Episode '5.5'

The seventh and final Blu-ray Disc and DVD volume for the Tamayura - Hitotose television anime series will include the unaired "episode 5.5" when it ships on June 27, 2012. The episode is titled "Chihiro-chan ga Kite Kureta yo! na Node" (Chihiro-chan Came! So Then…) The episode continues the storyline from the fifth episode, during which the main character Fū's friend Chihiro visits.
The television series and earlier video series follow a girl named Fū Sawatari (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) after she moves to Takehara, a waterside town that was her late father's childhood home in Hiroshima Prefecture near the Seto Inland Sea. In episode 5, Chihiro Miyoshi (Minako Kotobuki) arrives from Fū's old hometown of Shioiri. Chihiro comes to have fun at Fū's new home, and "episode 5.5" follows what happens next.
The series just finished its television run this past week. Tokyo MX's airing of the final Tamayura - Hitotose television episode ended on Friday with a teaser video for the newest work from Tamayura director Junichi Satō (Prétear, Princess Tutu, Umi Monogatari ~Anata ga Ite Kureta Koto~, Aria).
