K-ON Film Screenings at Anime's Real-Life School Cancelled

The Viva City Cinema confirmed this week that the planned K-ON film screenings at the real-life school that inspired the anime have been cancelled. The cinema cited "various circumstances" as the reason.
The screenings would have been held on the former campus of Toyosato Elementary School in Shiga Prefecture on May 4 and 5. Kyoto Animation based the anime's fictional Sakuragaoka High School on Toyosato.
