Corpse Party Games Get New Tortured Souls Video Anime

The Japanese production company MAGES. announced on Thursday that production on a new original video anime called Corpse Party: Tortured Soul has been green-lit.
The new anime will serve as a sequel to Corpse Party: Missing Footage (pictured right), the original video anime bundled with the limited-number edition of the Corpse Party -The Anthology- Sachiko no Renai Yūgi ♥ Hysteric Birthday 2U spinoff game. That game and the Missing Footage video anime shipped in Japan on Thursday.
Both video anime projects share the same production staff.
The original Corpse Party game from Team GrisGris followed of a group of high school students trapped in an elementary school, which is haunted by children who disappeared. In the new Anthology game, several guest writers tell stories set on the birthday of Sachiko, one of the elementary school children who cursed the school. XSEED Games released the PSP version of the original Corpse Party game in North America and Europe.
