Space Robot Anime Majestic Prince's 1st Promo Streamed

The official website for the 2013 space robot anime Ginga Kikōtai Majestic Prince opened on Wednesday at midnight and began streaming the first promotional video:
The story follows humanity after it expanded its frontier into space in a quest for resources. Advances in genetic engineering research allow humans to adapt to the new frontier, leading to the advent of evolved children such as the protagonist Izuru. Izuru enrolls in an academy city called Gurantseere to fulfill his mission of "protecting humanity."
The promotional video lists the main staff for the anime:
- Director: Keitaro Motonaga (Katanagatari, Jormungand)
- Character Designer: Hisashi Hirai (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed franchise)
- Series Script Editor/Script: Reiko Yoshida (K-ON! franchise)
- Production: Dogakobo/Orange
Rando Ayamine and Hikaru Arashima's Majestic Prince manga began serializing in Monthly Hero's inaugural issue last October, and Shogakukan Creative published the first volume of the manga this week. An anime adaptation of the manga was announced in the magazine when it was released on the first of this month, but the announcement was also leaked early at 7-Eleven registers in Japan.
