"Dream team" of director Tsutomu Mizushima, Production I.G, main cast return

This year's 23rd issue of Kodansha's Evening magazine is announcing on Tuesday that a second season of the Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san television anime has been green-lit. The second season will reassemble the "dream team" from the first season: director Tsutomu Mizushima (xxxHOLiC, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, Genshiken, Girls und Panzer), the studio Production I.G, and cast members Masaya Onosaka (Azazel), Rina Satō (Rinko sakuma.), Daisuke Namikawa (Akutabe), and Hiroshi Kamiya (Beelzebub).

The broadcast date, new cast members, and other details will be announced in the magazine and the anime's official website as soon as they are decided.

Yasuhisa Kubo's original gag comedy manga revolves around the detective Akutabe, his assistant Rinko sakuma., and the various magical demons that Akutabe uses for his cases. Besides the first television season, the manga also inspired three anime DVDs that were bundled with the manga.

The manga has been running in Evening since 2007, and it was nominated for the 2nd Manga Taisho Award on 2009.
