The production company Pony Canyon began streaming a teaser video this week to announce that Tetsuro Araki (Death Note, Highschool of the Dead, Guilty Crown) is directing a new television anime project currently named "Attack" at Wit Studio.

Yasuko Kobayashi (Shakugan no Shana, Claymore, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) is in charge of the series scripts, and Kyoji Asano (Psycho-Pass, Tokyo Marble Chocolate) is designing the characters.

Wit Studio is a new animation planning and production subsidiary co-owned by Production I.G's parent company IG Port and Production I.G producers Jōji Wada (Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings, Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You) and Tetsuya Nakatake (Guilty Crown, Usagi Drop).

An announcement event will be held at Tokyo's Nicofarre event hall and streamed live on Niconico on Saturday, December 8 at 8:00 p.m. (6:00 a.m. EDT).
