Manga creator Choboraunyopomi will debut Maite wa Ikenai Rozen Maiden, a new spinoff manga based on Peach-Pit's Rozen Maiden manga, in Shueisha's Miracle Jump magazine on December 27. Like the original manga, the spinoff manga will center around Rozen Maiden dolls who fight until there is only one left, the so-called "Alice."

2013's combined 2nd/3rd issue of Shueisha's Young Jump magazine is also announcing on Thursday that the previously revealed new anime project will be a television anime.

Peach-Pit launched Rozen Maiden in Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine in 2002 before switching to Shueisha's Young Jump magazine in 2008. It already inspired two 12-episode television anime adaptations (Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden - Träumend), the two-episode prequel Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre in 2006, and a short special Rozen Maiden: Detective Kun-Kun.

Geneon Entertainment licensed the first anime and Rozen Maiden - Träumend for release in North America in 2007. FUNimation Entertainment then signed a deal with Geneon Entertainment in 2008 to distribute both television anime in 2008. Sentai Filmworks picked up and released Rozen Maiden, Rozen Maiden - Träumend, and Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre last year.

Choboraunyopomi created the four-panel comedy manga Ai Mai Mi that is getting an television anime adaptation next month.
