Ikki Online Manga Debuts with House of Five Leaves Spinoff

Website to post Sho Shibamoto's Pandemonium -Wizard Village- in both Japanese, English

Ikki Paradise, the official website for Shogakugan's Monthly Ikki magazine, launched a new web manga serialization corner titled “Web Ikipara Comic” on Friday. The new section serves to deliver manga specifically made for the web for free to readers. The website will update with new chapters every Friday.

The corner launched with two manga series on Friday. The first is a spinoff manga of Natsume Ono's House of Five Leaves manga. The story of the Kozure Dōshin (The Constable who Brought His Child Along) manga centers on the supporting character Tachibana during his childhood. The second is Knots' Kataware no Wareware 4-panel comedy manga, which revolves around two lazy university students who live together and who have a secret.

The corner will launch Sho Shibamoto's Pandemonium -Wizard Village- manga on January 11 in both Japanese and English simultaneously. The series follows a man who collapses in the middle of a journey and the kind-hearted villager who rescues him.

Additionally, "Web Ikipara Comic" will launch Ken Niimura's He/n/shi/n manga on January 18 and Tomoko Fuyukawa's (Mustard Chocolate) Nostradamus Love on January 25. He/n/shi/n will recount a "casual and special" event that happens in "a small corner of Tokyo, or possibly the middle of Tokyo." The "cute short story" of Nostradamus Love revolves around a girl who is alone in July 1999.

Ono's House of Five Leaves manga ran in IKKI from 2005 through 2010. Viz Media published the eighth and final volume in the series in September in North America. Funimation streamed the television anime series as it aired in 2010, and NIS America released the anime on home video in North America.
