Sparrow's Hotel 4-Panel Comedy Manga Gets TV Anime

Newbie hotel front desk worker with assassin skills in Yuka Santoh's story

The April issue of Takeshobo's four-panel manga magazine Manga Life is announcing on Monday that a television anime adaptation of Yuka Santoh's Sparrow's Hotel manga has been green-lit.

The comedy revolves around Sayuri Satō, the new front desk worker at the Sparrow's Hotel — "the closest hotel to Heaven." Her special features are her large breasts and her skills of assassination. She takes down people who cause trouble in the business hotel with those skills, but she is in fact very unskilled when talking to the male hotel manager, and often bites her tongue.

The manga has been serialized in the magazine since 2008 (after some one-shot shorts), and Takeshobo published the second compiled volume in October of 2011.
