'Pokkén Fighters,' 'Pokkén Tournament' Trademarks Filed

The Pokémon Company International filed trademarks for "Pokkén Fighters" and "Pokkén Tournament" in America on August 15.
The trademarks were filed for use with video games, Near field communication (NFC) technology-enabled devices including keychains, board games, game cards, action figures, trading card games, and "entertainment services, namely, production, presentation, distribution and syndication of animation, motion picture films and television programs."
A new Pokémon title was teased at the Pokémon Game Show with a brief image. A relation to the game and the recent trademarks has not been confirmed by The Pokémon Company.
