Samurai Flamenco Another Days to ship during the anime's run

This year's November issue of Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine, which ships on October 18, will contain the first chapter of a manga adaptation of the upcoming anime series Samurai Flamenco. Shō Mizusawa will draw the series, which is titled Samurai Flamenco Another Days, and the first page will be full color. The series will depict a story not being told in the anime. Seiko Takagi (Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy scriptwriter) is writing the manga's script.

Manglobe (Samurai Champloo, Karneval, Deadman Wonderland) is producing the series, which will begin airing on the Noitamina block on October 10. Takahiro Ōmori (Durarara!!, Natsume's Book of Friends, Baccano!, Princess Jellyfish) is directing Samurai Flamenco, while Chinatsu Kurahana (Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%, Aquarion Evol original character designs) is designing the characters. Aniplex of America has licensed the series for streaming and home video release.

Samurai Flamenco is a comedy and drama about Masayoshi Hazama, a man who becomes a superhero "by himself" without superpowers or technology, and Hidenori Goto, a cop who finds out Hazama's true identity and thus constantly gets in trouble thanks to "the superhero."
