BokuKimi's Kotomi Aoki to Launch New Manga

The July issue of Shogakukan's Cheese! magazine announced on Saturday that Kotomi Aoki (Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu, Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru, Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru) will launch a new series in the September issue on July 24. The series' protagonist will be a young man who cooks.
The magazine includes several rough sketches of the main character cooking, sampling food, and inviting someone to say "ah" as he offers up a spoonful of a dish. The issue reveals that the man is also a parent or parent figure to a small child. The magazine's next issue will include more details.
Aoki's Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru, Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu, and Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru romance manga have all been adapted into live-action films. The Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru film opened in Japan in December.
The 14th compiled book volume of Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru will ship on Monday.
