'K' Anime Gets Another Manga in New Hatsu Kiss Magazine

The anime series K will get a new manga adaptation starting in the first issue of Kodansha's Hatsu Kiss magazine on June 13. The series, titled K―Lost Small World―, is based on a novel of the same name by K creators GoRA and GoHands, and tells the story of how Misaki Yata and Saruhiko Fushimi met and parted ways. Yoru Ōkita will draw the series.
GoRA and GoHands' K television anime series premiered in 2012. Viz Media streamed the anime in North America as it aired in Japan, released the series on home video, and streamed the series dubbed on Neon Alley. The anime project is getting a film sequel this July.
Kodansha's ARIA manga magazine previously published the prequel manga K: Memory of Red and is currently serializing Yui Kuroe's K -Days of Blue-. Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine is serializing Rin Kimura's K: The First and also ran Jiro Suzuki's high school spin-off Gakuen K.
Hatsu Kiss will replace Kiss Plus, which ceased publication in February. Focusing on "the fun of meeting for the first time," Hatsu Kiss will also include suspended works from Tsunami Umino and new series from Yukari Koyama (Barairo no Seisen), Yayoi Ogawa (Tramps Like Us) and Kayoko Shimotsuki (Kare wa Diablo!). Shimotsuki's new work, titled Poisson, will be set in France.
The first issue will come with 2 illustrated cards for K―Lost Small World―.
