Ace of Diamond Baseball Manga Gets Original Anime DVD

DVD adapts guidebook's short story about Kominato brothers

This year's 34th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Yūji Terajima's 44th Ace of Diamond manga volume will bundle an original anime DVD on November 17. The limited-edition DVD will animate "Face -Kominato Ryōsuke Special Bangai-hen-" (Face: Ryōsuke Kominato Special Bonus Story), which appeared in the Ace of Diamond Official Guidebook Ura. This short tells the "moving secret story of the Kominato brothers that cannot be seen in the television series."

The baseball manga inspired a television anime that premiered in Japan last October, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
