Musician Pharell Williams debuted the anime- and game-inspired music video for his song "It Girl" on Tuesday. Takashi Murakami (Superflat Monogram) produced the video at his Kaikai Kiki company.

Fantasista Utamaro and Mr. directed the video and Sorato Shimizu handled character design and key animation. NAZ and Ogura Atelier were both involved on the animation.

Murakami created a music video earlier this year for Williams' remix of the Hatsune Miku song "Last Night Good Night," which was previously used as the theme song for Murakami's 2013 film Jellyfish Eyes. Murakami and Williams also collaborated with Jacob the Jeweler on a sculpture called Simple Things in 2008.
