To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness 2nd season & True Princess game

The "To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness Super Stage" event at Jump Festa 2015 announced on Sunday that production on a second television anime season, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness 2nd, has been green-lit. The event unveiled the new season's key visual and title logo. The new season will reunite the main cast and staff from the first season.

Production on a new game, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: True Princess, has also been green-lit for next year. This time, the game is an "eagerly anticipated full-fledged dating simulation game" for the PS Vita system.

The first anime season will re-run on the BS11 channel on Mondays at midnight starting January 12, 2015.

Kentarō Yabuki and Saki Hasemi's To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga, a sequel of the first To Love-Ru -Trouble- series, launched in Jump Square in 2010. The series has 14 million copies in print. Sentai Filmworks licensed the 2012 television anime of the manga, and The Anime Network streamed the series in North America.

The 13th To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga volume will bundle a new anime DVD next year. The manga inspired previous orginal video anime projects as well.

The franchise already inspired an earlier PS Vita game, the "ultra-pleasant harem action" game To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: Battle Ecstasy.
