Owari no Seraph: Unmei no Hajimari PS Vita game will be tactical RPG

Bandai Namco Entertainment opened a teaser site on Saturday for a PlayStation Vita game, Owari no Seraph: Unmei no Hajimari (Seraph of the End: Beginning of Destiny). The "dramatic tactics" game is slated for release in 2015.

This year's 33rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will share more details on Monday. According to the magazine, the player's decisions throughout the game will change the ending. Characters will get special endings if players build trust with them during battle.

In addition, Bandai Namco Entertainment opened a website on Saturday for a smartphone game tentatively titled Owari no Seraph: Bloody Blade. The game is slated for release this fall.

The original manga by novelist Takaya Kagami (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes, A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives), manga creator Daisuke Furuya, and manga artist Yamato Yamamoto takes place in a world where an unknown virus has killed the entire human population except for children. Those children were then enslaved by vampires. The manga centers on Yūichirō Hyakuya, a human who dreams of becoming strong enough to kill all vampires.

The first 12 episodes of the anime adaptation ran from April to June, and the second 12 episodes will run from October to December. Funimation is streaming the anime.
