Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition Adds Railgun's Kuroko, Uiharu

Kuroko Shirai as playable character, Kazari Uiharu as support

The Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival event announced on Sunday that two more characters are joining the roster of Sega's Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition game. A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun's Kuroko Shirai (as voiced by Satomi Arai) will be a playable character, while Kazari Uiharu (Aki Toyosaki) will be a support character.

Ecole and French Bread are developing the game, which debuted in Japanese arcades on July 28. It is next arriving on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 17. LiSA (Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, The irregular at magic high school) is performing the game's theme song "ID."

The game adds new playable characters, such as The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'s Emi Yūsa/Emilia, Heavy Object's Quenser, and The irregular at magic high school's Tatsuya Shiba. It also adds new systems, such as the new ability to pick two support characters and switch between them every round, and it re-balances existing characters.

The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita port of Sega's first Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax arcade fighting game shipped in Japan on November 13. Sega plans to release the game in North America and Europe on October 6.

The first game features 14 playable characters and 23 support characters from ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko light novel titles. The game was launched to celebrate the imprint's 20th anniversary. Mami Kawada performed the original game's first theme song "Belief."
