TOHO's official website for the 20th Detective Conan (Case Closed) anime film began streaming a teaser video titled "Black Movie" for the film on Wednesday. The teaser reveals the film's April 16 opening date, and teases the film's full title, which is only partially revealed with the Japanese character for "black."

Conan: I've been waiting for this moment.
Sherry: Don't go!
Bourbon: It's almost the right time.
Rye: Hm, so that's how it is.
Kir: It can't be!
Voice: The door to the hallowed ground must never be opened. But now, it will finally open.
Vermouth: Has that person started to move?
Gin: This is the end.

Text: April 16, 2016. The most decisive battle.

The website also unveiled the film's first visual. 96960 (the number 96 can be pronounced as "kuro" or "black" in Japanese) copies of the visual will be distributed across theaters in Japan as a poster, and will begin appearing in theaters on Saturday. The leftmost text on the visual reads, "The door to the hallowed ground will open."

The website unveiled the visuals for some of the film's characters, all of which are members of the story's Black Organization, and have appeared in the story previously.

The website also hints at the appearance of Rum, who has never been shown in the series.

The 19th Detective Conan film, Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno (Meitantei Conan: Gōka no Himawari), premiered in Japan on April 18.
