MYTH&ROID, Rie Takahashi Perform Re:Zero Anime's New Theme Songs

Yukari Tamura, Keiji Fujiwara, Yuka Iguchi, more added to cast for ongoing series

The official website for the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (Re: Life in a different world from zero or Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) television anime series revealed more cast members and the new opening and ending theme songs on Friday.

MYTH&ROID will perform the new opening theme song "Paradisus-Paradoxum." MYTH&ROID already performed the anime's first ending theme song "STYX HELIX." The single CD is slated for release on August 24, and will also contain the song "theater D," as well as instrumental versions of both songs.

The show's character Emilia (voiced by Rie Takahashi) will perform the new ending theme song and character song "Stay Alive." The single CD will also contain the songs "Wishing" by Rem (Inori Minase), and "Bōya no Yume yo" by Emilia, which is an insert song that appeared in the show's eighth episode. The single CD will also contain instrumental versions of all three songs, and is slated for August 24.

Keiji Fujiwara as Aldebaran
Yuka Iguchi as Crusch Karsten
Yui Horie as Felix Argyle
Kenyuu Horiuchi as Wilhelm van Astrea
Kana Ueda as Anastasia Hoshin
Takuya Eguchi as Julius Euclius

The anime premiered on April 3, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.

Masaharu Watanabe (Wakaba Girl director, episode director for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is directing the anime at Studio White FOX. Masahiro Yokotani (Maria Holic, both seasons of Free!, SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist) is handling the series composition, and Kyuta Sakai (Steins;Gate, Sankarea: Undying Love, Humanity Has Declined) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director.

Yen Press will publish Tappei Nagatsuki and Shinichirou Otsuka's original novel series in North America, along with Daichi Matsue's manga adaptation.
