Coharu Sakuraba's Sono Mirai wa Uso de Aru manga also ends on same day

The 2016 July issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine announced on June 9 that Saki Nakagawa's Attack on Titan: Junior High manga and Coharu Sakuraba's Sonna Mirai wa Uso de Aru manga will be ending in the August issue, on July 9. The June issue of the magazine teased an ending of Attack on Titan: Junior High in the chapter margin, announcing that the final chapter was approaching.

Nakagawa launched the comedy manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in April 2012. The manga re-imagines Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other cast members from Hajime Isayama's original Attack on Titan manga as students and teachers at Titan Junior High School. Kodansha released the 10th compiled volume in Japan in April.

Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga in English, and it published the fourth compiled volume in December.

The manga inspired a 12-episode anime adaptation that premiered in October, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

Sonna Mirai ha Uso de aru debuted with the first issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in September 2009. Sakuraba has published several manga that were later adapted into anime, including Minami-ke and Kyo no Gononi. Sonna Mirai wa Uso de Aru is a supernatural fantasy with two protagonists who possess psychic powers. Kodansha published the manga's fifth compiled volume in July 2015.
