Marginal#4 Idol TV Anime's January Premiere, Staff, Cast, Video, Title, Visual Posted

posted on by Egan Loo

The official website for the television anime of Rejet and Idea Factory's Marginal#4 franchise updated with more details, a teaser promotional video, and a new visual on the anime. The anime will premiere this coming January under the title Marginal#4 Kiss Kara Tsukuru Big Bang.

Kentarō Suzuki (episode director on The IDOLM@STER franchise, Little Busters!) is directing the anime at J.C Staff. Masahiro Yokotani (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-) is in charge of the series scripts, and Yoko Ito (Love Stage, Amanchu!) is designing the characters. Mikoto is producing the theme song music, and Daisuke Iwasaki penned the lyrics.

The in-story idol unit Marginal#4 will perform the opening theme song, while each episode of the anime will have a different musical act contributing its ending theme song.

Marginal#4 is the name of a fictitious idol group under Rejet's fictional "Pythagoras Production" label. Other idol groups under the label include "Unicorn Jr.," and "Lagrange Point." Marginal#4 consists of four members:

From left to right the members are: L Nomura (voiced by KENN), Atom Kirihara (voiced by Toshiki Masuda), Rui Aiba (voiced by Naozumi Takahashi), and R Nomura (voiced by Yuuto Suzuki).

Other returning cast members include Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Shy Makishima and Genki Okawa as Kira Himuro from Lagrange Point; and Shouta Aoi as Tsubasa Shindō, Chiharu Sawashiro as Alto Takimaru, and Toshiyuki Someya as Teruma Nakama of Unicorn Jr.

The franchise already includes over a dozen singles, several albums, and drama CDs. Additionally, Rejet and Idea Factory's Otomate brand released the MARGINAL#4 Idol of Supernova PlayStation Vita otome game for female players in November 2014.
