Monogatari Series Game App, Shinobumonogatari Novel's Ad Posted

Aniplex began streaming a commercial on Saturday for both the Monogatari Series smartphone puzzle game app and NisiOisin's upcoming Shinobumonogatari novel. (Note: The YouTube video linked above is region-locked to Japan.)
The puzzle game's title is Monogatari Series Puc Puc. Kodansha and Aniplex opened a website for the game. NHN PlayArt is developing the game. The game's site is running a pre-registration campaign, and people who pre-register for the game will get more rewards after the game launches if more people pre-register. The rewards include Normal Gacha Medals, Heart Doughnut items, Puku Gem items, and a Hitagi Senjōgahara card.
The game is slated for release this year. It is the first game app based on NisiOisin's Monogatari Series.
Shinobumonogatari is the latest novel in NisiOisin's Monogatari Series and the first book in the series' "Monster Season." It shipped in Japan on July 20.
The novel series centers on Koyomi Araragi, a loner and failing student. One day, his classmate Hitagi Senjōgahara falls into his arms accidentally, and he discovers that Hitagi literally weighs nothing. According to her, she has had this problem since the first year of high school. After Koyomi helps out with her supernatural problem, Koyomi then meets other girls who are all troubled by some manner of supernatural "oddity."
The novel series began with Bakemonogatari in 2006. The novel series' "final season" ended with Zoku Owarimonogatari in September 2014, but it featured a teaser for "Monogatari Series, Next Season Tsugimonogatari." Four "Off Season" novels — Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Musubimonogatari — shipped in October 2015, January 2016, July 2016, and on January 12, respectively.
Vertical published the earlier Kizumonogatari novel in December 2015, and began publishing the original Mongatari Series novels beginning in December 2016 with the Bakemonogatari novels.
Aniplex of America is releasing the anime adaptations of the Monogatari Series in North America. The Owarimonogatari Second Season anime special, the most recent anime in the franchise, tackles the third Owarimonogatari novel. It premiered in a two-day television special on August 12-13.
