Tezuka Productions, Success Corporation, iQiyi Collaborate on Chinese Animated Projects

Chinese video streaming site iQIYI announced last Friday that it is collaborating with the Japanese animation studio Tezuka Productions and the Japanese game developer Success Corporation to produce two Chinese animated productions. The two Japanese companies will work on animated adaptations of the Voice of Fox comic book and the The Demonic King Chases His Wife online novel.
The collaborations are part of a larger move by iQIYI to produce seven animated titles, with the objective of being a production base for the Chinese animation industry. Another animated project based on Ma Boyong's Whales of Four Seas is also slated for 2018.
iQIYI collaborated on the production of Cerberus (Seisen Cerberus: Ryūkoku no Fatalite), the 2016 television anime adaptation of GREE's Seisen Cerberus mobile game. iQIYI streamed the anime in China with the title War of Dragon Heart. Crunchyroll streamed the series outside of Asia.
