Rui Tanabe Narrates 4th Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA's Latest Promo Video

The official website of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-4-Ki, the fourth OAV in the Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA series, began streaming a fifth promotional video on Thursday. Rui Tanabe as Ringo narrates the video. The video previews the fourth episode's opening theme song "Brand New Door" by Ayuka Watanabe.
Mainichi Shimbun's Mantan Web site additionally began streaming the same video on Thursday, but featuring a different narration. The video features Azusa Satou as Otoka Masaki. The anime's official website had previously streamed a fourth promo video with different footage but the same narration audio in June.
The fourth OVA's fourth Blu-ray Disc volume was orignally slated for August 30, but is now slated for September 13. Piyohina is performing the episode's ending theme song "Koboreru Hizashi no naka de" (Inside the Overflowing Sunlight). The first volume shipped last November, the second volume shipped on February 22, and the third volume shipped on May 31.

Masaki Kajishima is credited with the original concept, character design, and as general director. Hidetoshi Takahashi (Sword Art Online II, Your Lie in April episode director) is directing the anime at AIC and C2C. Hideki Shirane (Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar, Tenchi Muyo! GXP) returns to supervise and pen the series' scripts. Takeshi Oda (Yurumates3Dei, Oneechan ga Kita) is adapting the character designs for animation, and Ryo Sakai (Glass Maiden, Kino's Journey, Ceres, Celestial Legend) and Crunch All Stars are composing the music.
The new OVA is the first entry in the OVA series in 11 years since last episode of the third OAV debuted in 2005.
